Software Architect


Individual Contributor, Non-Managerial

Role Description:

Using systems, tools and established processes, performs development, unit testing, white box testing, and technical analysis of software development projects, features, and both core and custom work items. Additionally, this role is expected to lead complex features, mentor developers and work closely with product development. This individual will serve as an architect on many projects partnering across functions to create complete and integrated solutions.


Essential Functions:


  • Performs complex product design, implementations, and maintenance activities on complex applications software which may require extensive research and analysis.
  • Performs complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
  • Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
  • Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues including new technology or development tools.
  • Serves as an expert technical resource, advisor, and mentor in one or more feature sets or technologies supported by development team. Works closely with Senior Developers and counterparts in the organization to design solutions to complex problems, and directs work of one or more teams of developers.

Essential Experience:

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or EE or Mathematical Sciences (Physics/Mathematics/ Statistics)
